It is Leap Day...why not try Reading to the Cats.
We have a new Program...Read to the Cats @ Bailey's Cat Haven, located across the street from the library.
Reading to animals at a shelter can give them some much needed one-on-one time with a companion in a calm, non-stressful setting. It can also help skittish dogs and cats develop social skills that give them a better chance of being adopted.
Everyone participating will get to pick which book they would like to read to the cats.
This program is located at Bailey's Cat Haven...across the street from the library.
Parking is limited, but you are permitted to park in Gil's parking lot and walk over.
Take a leap on Leap Day to visit the cats at Bailey's Cat Haven.
By participating in or attending any library event, program, or class, visitors may be photographed by library staff.
