Why not try Reading to the Cats.
We have a new Program...Read to the Cats @ Bailey's Cat Haven, located across the street from the library.
Reading to animals at a shelter can give the reader and the cat them some much needed one-on-one time with a companion in a calm, non-stressful setting. It can also help skittish cats develop social skills that give them a better chance of being adopted.
Everyone participating in this program, will get to pick which book they would like to read to the cats.
Parking is limited, but you are permitted to park in Gil's parking lot and walk over.
By participating in or attending any library event, program, or class, visitors may be photographed by library staff. The library reserves the right to use these photographs for publicity purposes in printed materials and online. If you or a family member prefer not to be photographed, please inform the library staff in charge before the event begins.
