SUMMER READING KICK-OFF PROGRAM ... THEME: CANDYLAND
We’re bringing a childhood favorite to life at the Kick-Off Party—Candy Land, but on a life-sized scale! Kids and adults alike will step into the game, experiencing the magic in real life. Each family will start as a team, spinning, moving, and playing their way through the colorful adventure. After finishing the game, children will collect their goodies.
And what’s Candy Land without a castle? But this won’t be just any castle—it’s one you can bounce in!
We’ll also be handing out Summer Reading bags, packed with everything your child needs for a successful summer. Each bag will include a ticket for a free book, redeemable in the Children's section of the library.
Because life, like Candy Land, is full of winding paths. Sometimes you hit a tricky spot—like losing a turn at Licorice—but in the end, the journey always leads to the sweet reward of Candy Castle.
