Program Description

Body

Join us and our dog friends...for a Reading Program that is so much fun.

The main objective of this program is to provide a safe and "dog-friendly" atmosphere, which allows kids to practice the skill of reading.  By looking at a dog and reading to the dog, all threats of being judged are put aside.  The child relaxes, reads to the attentive dog, and focuses on the reading.  Reading improves because the child is practicing the skill of reading, building self-esteem and associating reading with something pleasant.

Everyone participating will get to pick which book they would like.

While you take a break from reading...we will be creating some pet rocks for you to take home.
