Outside Book Drop - Temporarily Closed (Beginning April 22nd)

Beginning Monday, April 22nd, the retaining wall will be worked on, located to the right of the Library.

Due to the nature of this work, the OUTSIDE BOOK DROP WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 WEEK to the public.

While this area is being worked on, all borrowed items must be returned inside the Library during our regular operating hours. Borrowed items can be dropped off in the blue bin in the Library’s Vestibule or at the Library’s Front Desk, during normal business hours. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE!

Library patrons are also welcome to return borrowed library materials to any Allegheny County library, during hours that the Library is Closed. 

In addition to the book return, the right side of our parking lot will be closed to allow for construction vehicles and equipment. The left side of the main parking lot, the second half of our parking lot (across from the main lot, and the upper parking lot by the Community Center will still be available for parking.
