Adult Summer Reading Programs

“Adventure Begins at Your Library”

From June 13th until August 7, the South Park Library invites you to join us for some “adventures” in this year’s summer reading programs.  For every adult audio/book that you read or program that you attend, you will be given a ticket to fill out for a chance to win gift cards to help you plan an adventure. This prize is for adults only.  The prize drawing will take place on Thursday, August 8th. In addition to the random prize drawing, we will now give a gift card prize to whomever fills out the most tickets!

Moonshot Museum Talk

Thursday, June 13 (Adults from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Community Center)

Folks from the Moonshot Museum in the Northside will be here to discuss Pittsburgh’s contribution to the space race and the future of space exploration.  This program offers an unprecedented opportunity to get up close and behind the scenes of the 21st century space industry.  What bigger adventure is there than space travel?
