Program Description

Body

Transform a plain miniature bookshelf into a work of art! In Part One of this program, teens are invited to decorate and paint their own tiny bookcases, turning them into one-of-a-kind creations. Design your bookcase to beautifully showcase your favorite reads! All materials provided.

In Part Two, you will craft tiny books to complete your personalized bookcase.

This is a drop-in program, so feel free to stop by the library at the time that is best for you to complete the activity!

If you are interested in attending, please register.

Please note: This is a 2-part event

  • During Part One, you will design and paint your bookcase, which will need time to dry.
  • In Part Two, you will create tiny books to fill your bookshelf.

Registration is required for both events if you plan to participate in both the bookcase painting and bookmaking activities.

Please note that the South Park Library’s programs are designed with specific age limits in mind to align with the developmental skills and needs of each age group, ensuring an appropriate and engaging environment for all participants.

This event is exclusively for teens aged 13 to 18.
