Local Author Ed Bonner Will Discuss His Latest Book, “Historical Madness”

Monday, November 18 at 6:30 in the library.

Historical Madness is an eclectic collection of mysteries, oddities, and haunting stories within Western Pennsylvania, neighboring West Virginia, and the Great Lakes.  Some stories may be known to local readers in part, while others are unknown. I enjoy revealing these stories to the reader. Stories that have been explored include the writing of a young boy who was electrocuted, he was called Green Man, to a group of miners that clashed with local law enforcement over union representation. A story about the life of Lobster Boy, who was a murderer. I also wrote about Madame Maria Curie, who discovered Radium and Polonium. She secretly used a local factory to explore uranium, which impacted a local community years later.
