Let’s get to ready to read and have fun.
Leroy Ninker has a hat, a lasso, and boots. What he doesn’t have is a horse—until he finally meets one, and it’s love at first sight. His new companion adores spaghetti, sweet nothings, and Leroy himself. But when Leroy forgets the third and final rule of horse care, everything goes hilariously off the rails. Can he wrestle fate to the ground, rescue the horse of his heart, and lasso loneliness for good?
Join us for some heartfelt and hilarious horsing around on Deckawoo Drive.
Snacks will be provided for anyone galloping in without time to eat. Kids can enjoy Hay Bales (Rice Krispie Treats), Trail Mix, and Horse Cookies—fun treats they’ll help make and munch on while reading.
The group will read the book at the library.
