Body

"There are plenty of bad people in the world," he said. "Too many to count. But there are good people, too."

― Lauren Tarshis, I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863

Calling all fans of the I Survived series! Tweens ages 10-12 are invited to join our I Survived Book Club. Join us on the first Monday of every month where we will delve into a different book from the series while enjoying snacks as well as crafts and activities based on the book selection!

We will be reading I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863 by Lauren Tarshis for our meeting. Join us as we discuss the book, create a diorama inspired by the story using toy soldiers and other accessories, and enjoy a traditional American Civil War-era snack of cornbread. All materials provided.

Participants should read or listen to the book prior to the book club meeting. If you do not finish the entire book, you are still welcome to attend the event. Come by the front desk to check out your copy of the book.

If you are interested in joining our book club, please register.
