Bridges, Buildings and Architecture of the Three Rivers (Riverboat Tour)
Saturday, September 28 – Bus leaves at library at noon
Explore the 3 Rivers with DOORSOPEN Pittsburgh as they showcase our rivers, buildings and bridges. Engineer Todd Wilson and Architect Paul Tellers will be our guides for this riverboat journey through time. Pittsburgh’s amazing bridges and impressive architecture will be explained as the scene unfolds from the vantage point of the riverboat’s viewing decks. Be immersed in Pittsburgh’s history as seen from the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. The boat sails for 90 minutes from Station Square. Restrooms are available. Food/Beverage is available for sale by the Gateway Clipper. Sign-ups will begin Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 am either by phone (412-833-5585) or in person at the library. The cost is $65.00. Space is limited. Payment is due on Thursday, September 19th. If the trip sells out, please get on the wait list! There are always cancellations.
