Teens, unleash your artistic potential and join us each month at the Colorful Canvas Club, where we explore a vibrant array of artistic mediums, from painting and collaging to clay sculpting and beyond! This is your chance to broaden your creative horizons while honing your skills in a supportive environment.
This month, we’re shifting the lens outward with a unique twist on self-portraits. Instead of depicting yourself, you’ll capture the essence of others—whether that’s a fellow artist, a library visitor, or an imagined personality. Use various artistic tools, such as paints, newspapers or magazines for collaging, and even artificial flowers, to tell their story through your artwork. Remember, this is all about creativity and expression, not just traditional techniques!
Join us at the library for an inspiring and relaxed space dedicated to teens passionate about art. Connect with fellow young artists, share ideas, and enjoy the creative process—all while having fun!
