Carnegie Museum of Art Christmas Tree Display & Lunch at the Café Carnegie
Friday, December 8 – bus leaves at 9:30 am return to SPL around 2:30
In December, the Carnegie Museum of Art dazzles with a display of Christmas Trees that line the Hall of Architecture. Each is decorated with a specific theme chosen by the Women’s Committee. They have been volunteering to create the display and bring it to life since 1961.
We will enjoy a guided 60-minute tour and then lunch at the Carnegie Café. We are then free to wander around the museum for an hour before returning to the library. Sign-ups begin Wednesday, November 1 at 10:00 am either in person or by phone (412-833-5585). The cost is $65 per person. Space is limited and payment is due November 29.
By participating in or attending any library event, program, or class, visitors may be photographed by library staff. The library reserves the right to use these photographs for publicity purposes in printed materials and online. If you or a family member prefer not to be photographed, please inform the library staff in charge before the event begins.
