Basics of Beekeeping & Honeybees

Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 in the library

Howard Mincone, an experienced beekeeper, will present an interactive family friendly talk about the basics of beekeeping and honeybees. He will also discuss how homeowners can positively impact native bees and other pollinators. He will have on hand; equipment used in beekeeping and parts of a Langstroth beehive (no live honeybees). Howard’s goal is to increase public knowledge, dispel rumors, and bad information about Honeybees.  Let’s have some fun! Please register.
