Summer Reading at South Park Township Library is back!
Visit southparklibrary.org for the latest information about all of our Summer Reading programming!
From Thursday, June 13th until Wednesday, August 7th, the South Park Library invites adults to join us for some "adventures" in this year's Adult Summer Reading Program!
For every adult book/audio book you read/listen to, or adult program you attend, you will be given a ticket to fill out for a chance to win gift cards to help you plan an adventure. This prize is for adults only. The prize drawing will take place on Thursday, August 8th.
In addition to the random prize drawing, we will now give a gift card prize to whomever fills out the most tickets!
For more information on Adult Summer Reading contact Donna at neiportd@einetwork.net.
Children are invited to participate in this year's Summer Reading Program from Thursday, June 13th - Friday August 2nd.
Beginning Thursday, June 13, 2024, children and their families can sign up to Beanstack at https://carnegiesouth.beanstack.org/reader365.
By signing up to Beanstack, children and their families can earn badges by attending programs and tracking the books that they read for a chance to win some weekly prizes! Everyone that participates in this year's summer reading activities and reads books will have a chance to win this year's end-of-summer grand prize!
**The last day to log the books that your child has read and the programs that they attend is Sunday, August 18th. We will draw the lucky grand prize winner on Monday, August 19th!**
To sign up to Beanstack, please select the "Register an Individual or Family" option to register!* After signing up or logging into Beanstack, select the "South Park Township Library: Summer Reading Program 2024 (Children Ages 0-12)" challenge.
If you are signing up with the Beanstack app, please search for "Carnegie Library - South Region (PA) and then select the "South Park Township Library: Summer Reading Program 2024 (Children Ages 0-12)" challenge.
*Patrons that tracked their Beanstack Summer Reading activities in 2023 can continue to use their previously created Beanstack account for 2024 Summer Reading activities.
If you created a Beanstack account pre-2023 to track your Summer Reading activities and did not participate in the 2023 Summer Reading Program activities on Beanstack you will need to create a new Beanstack account.
